datatale smart thunderbolt raid system is hard disk case with hardware raid controller. rsm4t has 4 disk slot, and 4 3.5 inch hard drives can be installed. Additionally, by using attachment (sold separately), 2.5" ssd or hdd can be installed. interface is 2 thunderbolt.
it's hardware based, but it's not activated when u open the box. From CD-ROM, install RAID Master, then access to the web to create RAID.
support RAID0/1/10. BTW, RAID10 is after building 2 sets of RAID1, then building RAID 0 with those two, it can achieve speed and redunduncy. For general use RAID case, this function is unique. If you want speed and data sefety, RAID 10 is one of the best choice. RAID10 can be used when you install 4 disks.
