Data Watch Technologies Unveils Data Management Solutions for Mobile Professionals

Irvine, CA. – February 3, 2011 -- Data Watch Technologies has announced its new DataTale family of data management solutions for professionals on the go, and named International Supplies of Inglewood, California as its authorized distributor.  The new solutions offerings include the 3.5 inch Portable Enclosure, 2-Bay RAID and 4-Bay SMART RAID, and Basic and Deluxe Backup Kits.

The 4-Bay SMART RAID system boasts a unique upright structure for vertical placement of hard drives within the aluminum case, which maximizes internal airflow for excellent heat dissipation, thus elongates lifespan of hard drives, and allows swapping and replacing hard drives easily.

It comes with quadruple interfaces of USB, eSATA and Firewire 400 and 800, and provides Striping, Mirroring, Clone, Span, RAID 5, 1+0 or JBOD modes.  The intelligent GUI (RAID Master) allows users to monitor the operation process and offers the flexibility to setup mixed RAID modes to meet specific needs. Combining the 4-Bay SMART RAID system with the Portable 3.5 inch aluminum enclosure which also has quadruple interfaces, the Deluxe Backup Kit is a perfect solution for travel professionals. Data is easily backed up or stored with the Portable 3.5 inch enclosure. Transferring that data to the SMART RAID system at office for further management is as easy as pulling and inserting the Hard drives without even touching the host computers.

The patented SmartGuider handle mechanism seamlessly bridges the SMART RAID system with the Portable 3.5 inch enclosure, makes HARD DRIVE installation, removal and insertion a simple, and features effortless Hot-Plug and Hot-Swap supports on the RAID systems.

The Basic Backup Kit includes a 2-Bay RAID System and a Portable 3.5 inch enclosure, which offers most benefits of the Deluxe Backup Kit, and allows easy use of the RAID system under Striping, Mirroring or JBOD modes.
