Presently, I·m using one of the DataTale™ 4-Bay RAID System with two HDDs of 1TB storage space each under RAID 0 (Striping) mode. However, I plan on adding another 1TB HDD and would like to run all three HDDs together under one of the RAID modes. What should I do to prevent losing the "original data" already stored?
When adding or reducing the number of HDDs, or changing the RAID mode that they should perform under, remember to back up the original data first and then proceed with the changes.
