Most of them are set to JBOD (None RAID) mode before the first use. RS-M4QO is set on RAID 5 since it doesn't have the JBOD mode.

If the RAID System purchased already includes the hard drives pre-installed inside from the local distributor, please double check with the local distributor in regards to which RAID mode is set as the default instead.
