My operating system is Windows 7 and its current speed performance becomes very slow whenever the data is both reading and writing while using the RAID Unit. Are there any suggestions to improve this?
This problem may be caused by the Removal Policy settings for the DataTale RAID Unit under Windows XP, Vista, or 7.
Please connect the RAID Unit to the host computer, and go into "Disk Management". Next, right-click on "Disk 1" (of the RAID Unit), and choose "Properties". Then, select the "Policies" page, and choose options: "Better performance" and "enable write caching on the device".
After resetting the Removal Policy, the read/write speeds of the RAID Unit should become faster and be more stable than before. Please also use the "Safely Remove Hardware" procedures to disconnect the RAID unit properly.
