I have been using RC-M4DJ for a while now with Hitachi hard disks of 2TB. The Unit randomly reports that one of the 4 disks are faulty after setting up a RAID mode. What¡¦s wrong?

This is a similar problem we¡¦ve encountered with the Hitachi 2TB hard drives. After the further examination, we found out that the response time of these new Hitachi hard drives can¡¦t match up with our RAID controller. Thus, when you build them under a RAID mode, it will give you a random error. Please update your Unit with the FIRMWARE here, which is designed to focus mainly on addressing the compatibility issue with these new Hitachi 2TB (HDS722020AlA330) hard drives for our RAID controller.
